As Global Airways’ operations grew, we established our own dedicated engine repair facility to deliver greater reliability, operational control, and long-term value across our fleet.
The Global Aerotech engine shop has completed 36 engine overhauls to date and remains the only certified facility in South Africa approved for V2500 heavy maintenance. Staffed by powerplant technicians with over 100 years of combined experience, the facility operates three repair bays with the capacity to process up to five engines per month.
The engine shop operates exclusively in support of the Global Airways fleet -e nsuring priority turnaround, full operational control, and uninterrupted airworthiness across our entire operation.
